Hamirpur, August 12:
Former MLA Rajendra Rana took a dig at the state Congress government and the current MLA of Sujanpur and said that everything from basic facilities to jobs is being ruined in Sujanpur but the government and the MLA are happy even amidst this neglect.
He alleged that despite there being a Congress government in the state and a Congress MLA in Sujanpur, the local people are not getting their due rights.
In a statement issued here today, Rajendra Rana raised the issue of staff nurses appointed in civil hospitals of Sujanpur and Tony Devi in particular. He said that in these recruitments, Sujanpur area has been completely ignored and all appointments have been given to favourites. He said that when it comes to giving jobs, the youth of Sujanpur are being ignored and outsiders are being given preference, which is very unfortunate.
He further said that Congress MLAs are proving to be a complete failure in the field of education, employment and basic amenities. The non-payment of salaries on time to outsourced employees in the Jal Shakti Department is a clear proof of this. Rana said that every section of the society is upset with the functioning of this government.
He said that the people of Sujanpur will give a befitting reply to Congress in the upcoming elections for breaking promises made to them.
