Professor, Head of the Department of Science at APG Shimla University. Dr. Maninder Kaur and Dean of Science Prof. Program on Hindi Day on 14th September under the leadership of Dr. Rohini Dharela and on 15th September under the leadership of Dr. Rohini Dharela, Head of the Department of Engineering and Computer Engineering, Prof. Engineering Day was organized under the leadership of Dr. Ankit Thakur. In which speech competition, painting, Hindi quiz, engineering quiz were held. On both these important days, students and professors of APG Shimla University participated enthusiastically. Students presented colorful cultural programs and highlighted the importance of Hindi language and engineering. In the program, Vice Chancellor of APG Shimla University, Prof. Dr. R.S. Chauhan, Chancellor Engineer Suman Vikrant and Pro-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ramesh Chauhan participated as chief guest and Vashishtha as chief guest.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. R.S. Chauhan said in his address that we should contribute to the advancement of the national language Hindi and move ahead with determination. He said that in the age of technology and digital, Hindi language is becoming prosperous and today Hindi literature is being taught along with the promotion of Hindi in the country and abroad. Hindi has done the old work in unifying the country and Hindi literature has preserved the Indian culture and today it has emerged as a pool of communication among the people all over India. Vice Chancellor Chauhan, explaining the relationship between language and culture, encouraged him to do his work in Hindi language along with civilization and culture. While reading the lines of the main poets and litterateurs of Hindi, he appreciated the heroic and beautiful essence of the national poet Dinkar. Explaining the importance of Devanagari script and encouraging students to adopt Hindi. In this program, on Hindi Day, students contributed to the program through speech competition, slogan writing, poetry recitation and took oath to use the Hindi language and finally on Hindi Day and Engineer’s Day, all the participants were felicitated as chief guests. Was honored with an award. On the second day on Friday, on the occasion of Engineering Day, on behalf of the School of Engineering and Technology, Head of the Department, Prof. Engineer’s Day program was organized under the leadership of Dr. Ankit Thakur. In the program, engineering and computer students presented various models related to innovations in the field of engineering and computers. Students remembered the developments in the field of engineering and computers on the birth anniversary of India’s great engineer Bharat Ratna Sir M. Vishwaresvaraya as he shaped new innovations to empower engineering in India’s development. The Engineering Day program was inaugurated by Dean Academics of the University, Prof. Dr. Anand Mohan Sharma welcomed the students of all civil engineering and computer engineering faculties and all the dignitaries, chief guests and professors present in the program with his speech. Dr. Anand Mohan Sharma said that development in every field is possible with engineering technology, behind which are the thinking, hard work and innovation of our engineers. Vice Chancellor of APG Shimla University, Prof. Dr. R.S. While addressing the students present in the auditorium, Chauhan said that smart engineering for a better world is the need of the hour. Vice Chancellor Chauhan said that all the developed and powerful countries of the world have progressed in every field on the strength of engineering technology and science, space science and nuclear technology and India is also now emerging in the line of developed countries through these innovations and technology. . This is the result of hard work of our engineers and technologists. Chief guest Chancellor and former Engineer-in-Chief Engineer Suman Vikrant, while congratulating on Engineering Day, said that the purpose of engineering technology is to find new innovations for human development and use them to create a better life and a developed society. Whereas former Vice Chancellor Pro-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ramesh Chauhan also highlighted the importance of engineering technology and said that along with the development of technology, qualities of being a better human being should also be developed so that technology is used keeping in mind environmental protection. Chauhan said that Indian scientists and technologists have proved that India has youth power with new innovations and having India on the moon has increased the credibility of the country and now the country is moving ahead in the world on the strength of technology. To celebrate both Hindi Language Day and Engineer’s Day, students also gave colorful cultural presentations. At the end of the program, Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Ankit Thakur gave the vote of thanks. Dr. Ankit Thakur thanked and congratulated all the engineers, computer technology students and professors for the successful organization of the program. On this occasion, Registrar of APG Shimla University Dr. Anil Kumar Paul, Controller of Examinations Afzal Khan, Deputy Dean Student Welfare Rehan, Dean Science Dr. Rohini Dharela, professors and heads of departments of all the faculties were present.
