The Enkindle Club of the Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) successfully conducted an insightful Career Counseling Session on 20 November 2025 at the DLC Hall, featuring distinguished industry professional Mr. Vijayent Kohli, Principal Cybersecurity Engineer at Ford Motor Company, USA. The session drew enthusiastic participation from students across various departments.
The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Aman Sharma and Dr. Anita, the Faculty Coordinators of the Enkindle Club, with continuous support from Dr. Vivek Seghal, Head of the Department, CSE. The event also received encouragement and approval from the university’s senior leadership, including Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor, and Brigadier RK Sharma, SM (Retd.), Registrar, whose support contributed significantly to the success of the program.
The session aimed to provide students with clarity on career opportunities, industry expectations, and emerging trends in cybersecurity, cloud computing, AI/ML, and system design. Mr. Kohli, who has worked with global technology leaders such as Microsoft, PayPal, Oracle, and Nokia Siemens Networks, offered valuable insights on building strong fundamentals, preparing effectively for interviews, selecting relevant certifications, and developing impactful real-world projects.
During the interactive Q&A segment, students asked thoughtful questions related to placements, internships, portfolio building, and skill development. Mr. Kohli addressed each query with practical and actionable guidance, encouraging students to maintain discipline, consistency, and a long-term vision in their professional journey.
