A tree plantation program was organized today in Government Senior Secondary School Cheva of Development Block Solan, courtesy of District Legal Services Authority, Solan. The program was presided over by Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate and Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Solan Akanksha Dogra.
Akanksha Dogra said on this occasion that tree plantation is necessary to make the surrounding environment clean and pure. She said that trees and plants absorb the impurities of the environment and provide us with pure life-giving air. Tree plantation is important for environment and land conservation.
He said that we should plant as many trees as possible and also ensure their conservation.
He urged the students to stay away from drugs and spend their valuable time in gaining knowledge and making their education useful in their lives. He said that complete eradication of drugs is necessary for the betterment of all. Furthermore, he said that the young generation is spending too much time on mobile phones. He urged the students to avoid ‘mobile addiction’ and use mobile and smartphones in their education.
Akanksha Dogra planted a soapnut plant on this occasion.
