The three-day long annual inter-departmental cultural competition, “Manchtantra 2022”, overall trophy was grabbed by the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Legal Science at Shoolini University.
The competition was held on the campus after a two-year break due to the COVID pandemic. The event was inaugurated by Mrs. Poonam Nanda, Dean, Students’ Welfare, Shoolini University.
The Chief Guests and Judges of the Manchtantra were singer Ajay Bhardwaj, Bollywood dancer Ashwin Pradhan and Semi-Classical Dancer Anchal and the writer Mrs. Aruna Mehta . The judges also awarded the trophies to the winning departments and congratulated everyone for their best efforts.
Manchtantra is the annual inter-departmental competition and one of the most awaited events at Shoolini University, it is celebrated every year with full enthusiasm and excitement.
The winners of the Manchtantra 2022 were:, The Overall Trophy was won by the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Legal Sciences, 2nd runner up was the Faculty of Sciences and Agriculture, Poster and Slogans first prize was won by the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Faculty of Biotech and Bioengineering, and the runner up was Liberal Arts and Legal Sciences, anchoring first prize was won by the Faculty of Management Sciences, and the second prize was won by Liberal Arts and Legal Sciences.
The duet song was won by Liberal Arts and Legal Sciences, and the second prize was won by Biotech and Applied Sciences. The first prize for comedy was won by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and the second prize was won by Liberal Arts and Legal Sciences. Group Dance Bollywood was won by Liberal Arts and Legal Sciences, and the second prize was won by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The faculty of Liberal Arts and Legal Sciences and the faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences won the theme-based fashion show, with the faculty of Sciences and Agricultural taking second place. In the category of faculty participation, the first prize was grabbed by the faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and the second prize was won by faculty of Biotech and Applied Sciences , Duet Dance: Semi-Classical the 1st prize was won by the faculty of Sciences and Agriculture; the 2nd prize was won by the faculty of Applied Sciences, faculty of Biotech and Bioengineering.
The faculty coordinators for Manchtantra were Anu Priya Thakur, Purnima Bali, Ranjna Thakur, Ekta Singh, and Mala Tripathi, who worked very hard to make this event a grand success. The Dean of Students’ Welfare, Mrs. Poonam Nanda, and the team of Shard, Vikrant, Vipul, Pooja, Ankur Saket, and Manan, organised and coordinated the whole event successfully.
