The Bhradi police station has arrested the father-in-law on charges of raping his daughter-in-law. The court has sent the accused father-in-law on a five-day police remand. The police have also gotten the complainant woman medically examined. Further action is underway.
According to the information, the woman got married about one and a half years ago. The husband works in another district. Her mother-in-law and father-in-law threw her out of the house on Monday night. On Tuesday morning, the woman reached Bharadi police station and complained about being thrown out of the house. She also alleged that her father-in-law also sexually harasses her. After receiving the complaint, a police team reached the woman’s in-laws’ house.
During the investigation at her in-laws’ house, the victim also said in the complaint that her father-in-law often molests her. He has also raped her forcefully. After this, the police also registered a case of rape. The accused father-in-law was arrested on Tuesday night itself. The woman was medically examined on Wednesday. Also, the accused father-in-law was produced in Ghumarvi court, from where he was sent on five-day remand. Forensic experts have also collected evidence from the crime scene. Meanwhile, police station in-charge Anup Kumar said that a case has been registered on the woman’s complaint. The accused has been arrested. Further action is being taken.
