In the case of Junior Office Assistant (JOA-IT) post code 939 taken up by the Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission (HPSSC), Vigilance has registered an FIR against four others at Hamirpur police station on Saturday. These include two HPPSC peons and two JOA-IT candidates.
Both the peons are accused of tempering the OMR sheets (answer-sheets) of two candidates. As per Vigilance investigation so far, Peon Madan Lal’s son Vishal Chowdhary and his neighbor Dinesh Kumar had appeared for JOA-IT Post Code 939.
Madan Lal and Kishori Lal, who were peons in HPPSC, tampered with OMR sheets with the aim of passing Vishal Chowdhary and Dinesh Kumar in the exam. Vigilance has found evidence of tampering in its investigation.
Subsequently, a case was registered against the two peons, Vishal Chowdhary and Dinesh Kumar of Bagh village in Kangra. Paper leak master mind Uma Azad’s niece and two others also scored high in the same post code.
