The five-day exhibition on “ 9 years of service , good governance and poor welfare ” of the Government of India was inaugurated today at the Padmadev Complex located at the local Ridge Ground.
The exhibition, which will run till November 11 , shows a glimpse of the all-round development that has taken place in the last nine years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and also gives information about the public welfare schemes of the Centre.
The exhibition has been organized by the Shimla office of the Central Bureau of Communications, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India .
The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Gurvinder Singh, Deputy Director General, Prasar Bharati. Shimla-based Joint Director of Press Information Bureau Shri Pritam Singh was the chief guest in the program. The chief guest visited the exhibition and appreciated it and said that it contains useful information for the people, especially the youth , farmers and women.
NCC cadets were specially present in the programme. A painting competition on the theme of national unity was organized for them. In the competition – Cadet Tamanna stood first , Anjali stood second and Disha stood third . Today a large number of people came to see this exhibition .
Artists associated with the Dance and Drama Division of the Government of India entertained the present community through folk songs and dance and also gave a social message . This exhibition will continue till 11th November.
