A new campus of the Shoolini Institute of Life Sciences and Business Management (SILB) is being constructed in Tatool, near Shoolini University.
Bhoomi Pooja was done at the new site by all the foundation members on Tuesday/
The foundation stone of the new campus was laid by Mrs Saroj Khosla, Chairperson SILB. Shoolini University Chancellor Professor PK Khosla, Foundation members Satish Anand, Shoolini University Pro-Chancellor Vishal Anand, Prof. JM Julka, Prof. Sunil Puri, and other senior members of the university were present. Director SILB Dr. Shalini Sharma and also all the faculty members of SILB attended the Bhoomi Puja.
The new campus will be a G+4 building, having around 41,000 square feet of area. This was designed by VIA Design, a Delhi-based architect.
The new SILB campus consists of two towers, Tower A on the left side of the land and Tower B on the right side. In between, there is a plaza of 12 metres which will connect both towers through a ramp as well as stairs.
The inside features of the towers, the ground floor include outdoor sports courts and a semi-open cafeteria in tower A. One seminar hall with a capacity of 150 to 200, offices and administrative offices, some open terraces, 12 numbers of classrooms with a capacity of 60 students in each classroom, four numbers of tutorial rooms with a capacity of 36 in each,
Faculty Rooms , Student Lounges, and Activity Zones are located in the building. A lift facility will also be available. Sports facilities will be provided on campus in an area of approximately 1500 square meters.
Mr. Pushaan Tanwar, Site Engineer, and Mr. Sunil Sharma, Land Manager, will be in charge of the project’s construction.
