Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal informed that under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 3.0, new free LPG gas connections are being provided to women from eligible families in the district.
He stated that the objective of the scheme is to provide clean cooking fuel to women belonging to economically weaker households. Under Ujjwala 3.0, eligible women will be provided with a free LPG connection worth up to ₹2,050.
To avail the benefits of the scheme, applicants are required to submit necessary documents, including a duly filled KYC form, identity proof, address proof, ration card, Aadhaar cards of all family members, bank account details, and a deprivation declaration.
He further informed that the benefit of the scheme will be provided only to those families in which no member already has an LPG connection and whose monthly income is less than ₹10,000.
Eligible women can apply through the official portals — www.pmuy.gov.in, www.cx.indianoil.in, www.my.ebharatgas.com, and www.myhpgas.in — or by visiting the nearest Common Service Centre, enrolment camp, help desk, or LPG distributor office.
