In response to the accused in the Gaggi murder case that occurred in Khwaja of Basal under Una district not being arrested, the villagers and BJP members—among them the deceased’s father—staged a demonstration in front of the Mini Secretariat. The group then met with SP Una Amit Yadav and urged him to apprehend the killers as soon as possible. Vinay Sharma, the district spokesman for the BJP, expressed dissatisfaction that the police have failed to find anything in the Gaggi murder case. It’s particularly unfortunate that the deceased’s father has come to the SP office to seek justice in this way, when other processes that need to be finished at home following the cremation are ongoing and people are coming home to offer their condolences. He stated that the police have to look into this murder case thoroughly and apprehend the perpetrators.
