About 65 students of Govt Sr. Sec School Chanawag, Shimla visited JUIT on 14th Feb 2023. They visited various departments including Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Department of Mathematics, Department of Physics and Materials Science, Department of Humanities and social Sciences, etc. They interacted with the faculties and Lab staff and learned various tests done in these labs. Head of Civil Engineering Department, Dr. Ashish Kumar encouraged having similar frequent visits in near future so that students must develop interest in science, engineering and technology. This visit was coordinated by Dr. Saurav from Civil Engineering department while other faculty members from various other departments helped in the overall organization of this important visit to the students.
