Governor of Punjab and Administrator U.T. Chandigarh, Gulab Chand Kataria inaugurated 55 kWp Roof Top Solar Plant and Rain Water Harvesting System at BBMB, Sector-35-B Rest House Complex.
BBMB Chairman Manoj Tripathi was present on this occasion. This solar plant installed by BBMB will not only help in producing clean and renewable energy, but will also increase energy efficiency by reducing power consumption. At the same time, the rain water harvesting system will contribute significantly in improving the ground water level by conserving rainwater.
This project reflects BBMB’s resolve towards environmental protection, energy self-sufficiency and water resource management, which is a big step towards sustainable development
