Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla will award the winners of the 68th All India Dance and Drama Competition tomorrows
Shimla, 9th June – The 68th All India Artists Association Dance and Drama Competition, organized by the All India Artists Association, Shimla, reached its thrilling conclusion today. The event witnessed extraordinary dance performances, including Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Modern, and Classical forms, at the Kali Bari Auditorium.
Esteemed drama groups from various states of India showcased their remarkable talent. The mesmerizing performances left the audience spellbound and further enriched the cultural fabric of the competition. In this Mansi Abhinay Gurukul, Arpan Kalakendra Gurur, Centre for theater and Film, Actors Factory, Bhaav Arts Film and theater association, A K S Abohar, Masoom Art Group and other various drama groups from across the country performed their acts.
The association also awarded “Indian Heroes Awards”, where eight notable NGOs from Himachal Pradesh were honored for their exceptional contributions. Among the recognized organizations was the well-acclaimed “Harmony of the Pines”, known for their profound impact in the community. To add to the grandeur of the event, the Himachal Pradesh Police orchestra enthralled the audience with their captivating performance on the Gaiety Theatre stage. The event was graced by the presence of Anirudh Singh, Rural Development Minister, President Rohitashv Gour and Vice President Rekha Gour.
Concluding the festivities, the remaining plays were showcased at Gaiety Theatre, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.
The Minister welcomed the participants from different states and thanked the president and vice president of the Event for organising such events in the queen of hills.
