Solan
A guest lecture was organized at LR Institute of Pharmacy, Solan, on the occasion of World Health Day on 7 April 2025. The theme of this year was “Healthy Beginning, Hopeful Future,” which aimed to increase awareness of maternal and newborn health.
On this occasion, Mr. Siddhant Sharma, Assistant Professor (Pharmacology), presented the lecture. He highlighted the importance of health, the role of the community and efforts to be made towards better health services through awareness.
The students and faculty members of the institute participated enthusiastically in this program. At the end of the program, Principal Dr. Avneet Gupta addressed everyone and said that health awareness is the foundation of a healthy society, and such events inspire students to become responsible citizens. This effort of the institute was a commendable step towards making health education accessible to the masses.
