BJP State President Dr Rajiv Bindal said that the Congress Government of Himachal Pradesh led by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has mastered the art of suppressing the voice of anyone who raises his voice in the interest of the public and filing cases against him.
Bindal said that the current Congress government has harassed many media colleagues and filed cases against them in the last two and a half to three years. Today, another new record has been set by the Sukhu government of Congress. An attempt has been made to suppress the voice of the media by filing a false case against Sanjeev Sharma of Samvad Bharat and Punjab Kesari, two important pillars of the media. This is reprehensible and intolerable. He said that the media is an important part of democracy and by suppressing the voice of the media, you cannot hide the injustice that the Congress party and the Congress government are doing to the people of Himachal Pradesh. Therefore, the Bharatiya Janata Party strongly condemns the way the Congress government is treating the media.
