One crore rupees will be given as grant
Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal gave instructions to prepare DPR for solar power plant

Under the Prime Minister Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, Haripur Panchayat located near the district headquarters has been selected as the ideal gram panchayat.
Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal gave this information today in the district level committee meeting held in the video conference room of National Informatics Center.
The Deputy Commissioner said that under this scheme, Haripur Gram Panchayat will receive a grant of Rs 1 crore to develop it as an ideal solar village.
Mukesh Repaswal asked the Project Officer Him Energy to prepare a detailed project proposal (DPR) for setting up a solar power plant in the Panchayat.
Along with this, he also directed that promotional material should be prepared to create information and awareness about the Prime Minister Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme among the general public and made available to the Block Development Officers.
He asked the Pradhan Gram Panchayat Haripur to place the matter for discussion in the upcoming Gram Sabha meeting.
The proceedings of the meeting were conducted by Project Officer and Energy Shashikant Dogra. He also provided detailed information about the various components of the scheme.
