People are relieved that the Kiratpur-Manali four-lane, which was obstructed by landslides, has reopened after five days.
However, landslides on the Kalka-Shimla railway route also caused rail services to be suspended for five days. Three trains have resumed operations on this track since September 6, according to railway officials. The passengers will benefit greatly from this.
