Shimla, 07February
Himachal Government has resumed all operations in medical colleges and zonal hospitals.
It will be mandatory for the patients to have a COVID test before the operation.
This was informed by Health Secretary Amitabh Awasthi.
He said that the medical colleges and zonal hospitals have been asked to resume normal operations with proper adherence to COVID guidelines.
They have been instructed to keep only one attendant in the wards with one patient at a time.
Two weeks ago, the state government had stopped normal operations considering the rising number of COVID cases.
There were around 18,000 cases in January. Now, the cases have come down to less than 6,000.
