Shimla, October 23
The Himachal Pradesh government has ordered the payment of arrears arising from the revision of pay scales to regular Group-D employees of the state government, with ₹10,000 to be paid in cash in November 2026.
According to an order issued by the Finance (Pay Revision) Department on October 23, the payment relates to the revision of pay scales under the Himachal Pradesh Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2022, effective from January 1, 2016.
The order, issued by Special Secretary (Finance) Saurabh Jassal, states that the Governor has approved the disbursement of ₹10,000 from the total arrears to eligible regular Group-D employees during November 2026.
The latest directive follows earlier departmental communications dated September 17, 2022, October 19, 2024, and August 18, 2026. The government has clarified that all other terms and conditions governing the payment of arrears will remain unchanged.
The instructions have been circulated to the departments concerned, including administrative secretaries, heads of departments, the Himachal Pradesh High Court, divisional commissioners and deputy commissioners, and police superintendents, for necessary action.
