Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu will present his fourth Budget on March 21 for the financial year 2026–27 in the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly. The Budget is scheduled to be passed on March 30.
According to a notification issued by the Assembly Secretariat, the Budget session will resume on March 18. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan said discussions on the Governor’s Address will take place on March 18 and 19.
The Budget will be presented on March 21, followed by discussion and cut motions from March 23 to 25. The Budget will be passed in the House on March 30.
Government and legislative business will be taken up on March 31, which will also be observed as Private Members’ Day. Further government and legislative work is scheduled for April 1 and 2.
