Chairman, Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank, Sanjay Singh Chauhan today organized a key camp of important camp meetings to mark the celebration of International Year of Cooperatives at Theog.
On this occasion, more than 300 important representatives of nearby cooperative societies and banks were present. They duly provided information about the working style, benefits received and problems faced by the cooperative societies in their respective areas!
In the camp, the bank’s chairman talked about the beneficial loan scheme being run for farmers, gardeners and workers.

On this occasion, MLA of Theog, Mr. Kuldeep Singh Rathore also threw light on the activities of the bank. Sanjay Singh Chauhan said that the Honorable Chief Minister has given a huge concession to the people by giving 50% interest concession on a loan of Rs 3 lakh to farmers in the budget. Sanjay Chauhan said on this occasion that the bank has currently decided to speed up loan distribution to the farmers of the state under various schemes of the Government of India and the State Government.
He said that as per the guidelines of the Honorable Chief Minister of the state government, Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu ji, the bank is also considering bringing new loan schemes for women and unemployed youth. Whoever involves himself in industries, build his future. He said that the bank has decided to celebrate the financial year 2025-26 as the International Cooperative Year as well as the Loan Distribution Year so that easy loans can be provided to the farmers, gardeners and workers of the state at easy installments and simple interest rates. Sanjay Chauhan said in his address that the Honorable Chief Minister is going to bring a lump sum loan repayment scheme for those farmers who have not been able to deposit their loan installments on time due to some reason, in which 50 percent of the total interest of agricultural loan up to Rs 3 lakh is being considered for waiver. He appealed to the participants present to take advantage of the welfare loan schemes of Babak and also take advantage of the fixed deposit scheme. In the meeting, information was given against drug abuse and a message was given to continue the glory of the state government to eliminate drug abuse under which if any person is found doing drug business in the society, then his land will be confiscated by the government.
The bank’s general manager Raj Narayan Jamalta, senior manager Rakesh Kumar, Rajgarh’s farmers, gardeners, loan holders of the bank and representatives of Panchayati Raj specially attended the camp. MLA Shri Kuldeep Singh Rathore was specially present in the meeting. He said that the bank should give loans to our farmers at concessional rates and bring OTS scheme. Sanjay Singh Chauhan said that Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh ji has fulfilled their demand by making an announcement in the recent budget.
