As celebrated at national level and guidelines received from UGC, JUIT celebrated “Har Ghar Tiranga” in a detailed and great way on 12th August, 2022. The event started with an assembly of all faculty, staff and students in Basketball Court of Jaypee University. Tiranga Yatra was organized in and around JUIT with the aim of spreading awareness of 75 years of Independence and help in creating an environment of nationalism and spirit of the important milestone in nation’s history.
Event was initiated with the warm welcome address by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajendra Kumar Sharma. Registrar and dean of students, Maj. Gen. (Retd.) Rakesh Bassi then gave a brief information about the execution of the plan for this important Tiranga Yatra to all the gathered faculty and staff members including students. Multiple teams of Faculty and staff members along with the JUIT students were fabricated. Two teams went to nearby villages Domehar and Richana. One team visited Waknaghat and one team visited the whole JUIT campus. Everybody was very excited and full of energy to celebrate this Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. Every team’s energy was clearly visible with a loud sound of slogans such as “VANDE MATRAM”, “JAB TAK SOORAJ CHAAND RAHEGA, TIRANGA TERA NAAM RAHEGA” and “BHARAT MATA KI JAI”. Finally the event was successfully accomplished with a message of Nationalism and Patriotism on top priority in every Indian National’s life.
