Himachal Pradesh truck operator should tax on goods till March 31. This is the last chance for the truck operators who have not deposited the goods tax for a long time. If the tax is not paid even after this, then the trucks can be blacklisted and seized. After that the work of passing and fitness of the truck will not be done.
BBN has more than 10,000 trucks. Out of these, 25 percent truck operators have not deposited their Goods Tax because they have been charged more than the penalty tax and are demanding waiver, but the penalty is not being waived by the government.
Superintendent RTO Office Nalagarh Madan Chauhan says that by December 2022 the old tax was to be deposited in the Excise and Taxation Department only, but due to high penalty, many operators have not deposited the tax. The government has given time till March 31 for this. If the deposit is not made even after this, then their trucks will be blacklisted.
