_State-of-the-art Cricket Ground Being Built in Shimla by Pro HPCL nears completion_

Himachal Pradesh’s largest and most prestigious cricket league, the Pro Himachal Premium Cricket League (Pro HPCL), has officially launched Season 3 with a grand Franchisee Meet held at Woodville Palace, Shimla. On this occasion, four new franchisees were welcomed, bringing the total number of teams to 20, representing various districts of Himachal Pradesh. These teams include representation from almost every region of Himachal, including Mandi, Solan, Kinnaur, Hamirpur, Shimla, Sirmaur, and Una.
Pro HPCL provides a vital platform for the youth of Himachal, not only promoting sports but also raising awareness against drug abuse. With the addition of four new teams, 56 new players will get the opportunity to compete in the league.
To make Season 3 even more exciting, the prize pool has been increased. The winning team will receive a reward of 9 lakh rupees, while the runner-up team will be awarded 4 lakh rupees. This season will be particularly special as all players will be from Himachal Pradesh, making it a complete ‘Himachali Edition.’
During the meeting, it was announced that future Pro HPCL matches will be held at the state-of-the-art cricket ground being built in Shimla by the league. This will be the first ground in Shimla capable of hosting matches both during the day and night. Construction of the ground is progressing rapidly, and with its inauguration, cricket in Himachal will reach new heights.
Following the Franchisee Meet, popular Himachali singer AC Bhardwaj mesmerized the attendees with a stunning performance, adding a special touch to the event.
The league’s founders, Ajay Thakur, Veenu Diwan, and Sumit Sehgal, presided over the Franchisee Meet. Ajay Thakur, in his speech, stated that Pro HPCL continues to successfully promote sports and support the campaign against drug abuse. He expressed gratitude to all franchisee owners for their support.
Veenu Diwan and Sumit Sehgal also expressed their enthusiasm for the players and franchise owners, reaffirming their commitment to promoting sports in Himachal Pradesh.
