The Himachal Pradesh taxi driver who went missing from Nayagaon in Mohali, adjacent to Chandigarh, has been murdered.
Punjab Police has arrested three terrorists in this murder case. It is worth mentioning that Anil Kumar (27), a resident of Jogindernagar in Mandi, lived in Nayagaon and drove a cab in the Tricity.
Now after the body was found near the airport in Mohali, the police have now registered a case regarding the kidnapping and murder of cab driver Anil Kumar. It is worth noting that this issue was raised by MLA Prakash Rana in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly on Monday.
According to the information received by the Punjab Police, Mohali Police busted a terrorist module linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and arrested three people from Jammu and Kashmir in the case of kidnapping and murder of a cab driver. All three have been caught by the police near Amritsar.
Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav said that preliminary investigation revealed that three people from Jammu and Kashmir had hired a cab from Kharar in Mohali. Soon after this, driver Anil’s mobile phone was switched off. Given the seriousness of the matter, several police teams were formed and then the three accused were arrested from Amritsar in Punjab.
