Lit Witz Club at Shoolini University hosted a story telling competition for the students to commemorate the Hindi Diwas. Hundreds of students participated in this virtual event from their respective places. Some of them spoke about fictional stories whereas the others spoke about their real life experiences. Students from across the country participated in the event and keep the spirit of occasion alive during this hard time.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. PK Khosla congratulated the winners and encourage them to promote our national language.
Some North Eastern students participate in the Hindi Diwas competition breaking the clueless assumptions of people who think that they can’t speak Hindi properly. E-certificates were received by the students for participation and the winners were given virtual trophies accordingly. Story telling event was judged by Mrs Poonam Nanda, Dean Welfare of Students and Mrs. Purnima Bali, Assiatant Professor. First prize of the event was grabbed by Anushka student of B. Pharmacy 5th sem, second prize won by Ruchika student of B. Pharmacy 7th sem and third prize was given to Aditya student of B.tech Food and Technology 7th sem. A special prize were given to Catherine student of B.Sc Yoga 1st Sem.
Dr. Purnima Bali, Assistant Prof. and coordinator of the event said, it was nice to see students from different parts of the nation participated enthusiastically and shared their views on different aspect of life. It was also an opportunity for students to showcase their talent. ” The whole event was successfully coordinated by the students Ayushi and Mishika.
