Revenue, Horticulture and Tribal Development Minister Jagat Singh Negi today inspected the fruit processing plant of Himachal Pradesh Horticulture Produce Marketing and Processing Corporation (HPMC) at Parwanoo in Solan.
The Horticulture Minister monitored the work of preparing juice at the Fruit Vidya Plant and issued appropriate guidelines to the officials. He instructed to pay special attention to cleanliness, hygiene and purity. He said that HPMC is known for the quality of its juice and other products and it should be ensured that the quality of the products remains intact.
Jagat Singh Negi said that HPMC’s Parwanoo plant is being kept operational continuously. On this occasion, he interacted with transporters and others and assured timely resolution of various problems.
HPMC officials informed the Horticulture Minister about the production of various products in the plant, quality management, packaging and transportation of the product.
On this occasion, Assistant Commissioner Parwanoo Protocol Shaifali Sharma, Deputy Superintendent of Police Mehar Panwar, HPMC Assistant Accounts Officer Monika Kashyap, ATO Ankita Sood and other employees of the plant were present.
