Under the new National Education Policy, undergraduate students in the Basic Science College of the University will be able to take advantage of this system. Under this, a certificate will be given on leaving studies after the first year, a diploma after 2 years, a degree after the third year, and an honors degree on completing a 4-year course. Agricultural University has become the first university in the state to implement such a system. NEP-2020 has also been implemented in the B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture program from the current session. The university has started the process of digitizing academic records of students by adopting the process of the Academic Bank of Credit (ABC). In such a situation, 3030 credit records of 1023 students have been recorded so far, which will be available to the students through DigiLocker. At the same time, the Automated Permanent Account Registry, i.e., APAR ID, has been created for about 1500 students. The university has decided to provide services for remote access to e-learning resources, e-journals, and e-books through remote login for the actual readers of its library.

The students of the university have excelled in various competitions at the national level, and 62 students have passed the SRF exam, 17 have passed NET, more than 40 students have received various scholarships, 63 students have passed the NCC C certificate, and 72 students have passed the NCC B certificate. More than 75 students have got placement in various government and private organizations, and Tarun Kamal has made the university proud by passing the UPSC exam. Pensioners will be connected with the e-pension system.
To promote a paperless culture, the university is going to bring its pensioners under the e-pension system. About 1500 pensioners will benefit from this. The employees have already been brought under e-salary. Like convocation, now convocation has also been started, under which, instead of attending classes for the first 15 days after taking admission, students will now be prepared through interaction sessions to adapt them to the university environment.
