The State Cabinet meeting held here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur decided to fill up 320 posts of different categories under the National Health Mission on contract basis which would go a long way in providing trained manpower in different health institutions in the State to facilitate the people.
The Cabinet gave ex post facto approval for reimbursement of 6 percent subsidy on purchase of packaging material i.e. cartons and trays whether procured through HPMC or open market with effect from 1st April, 2022 after producing GST paid bill of cartons and trays, sale proof and Aadhar linked bank account details to provide relief to the horticulturists of the State.
It decided to enhance the commission being paid to fair price shop holders on the sale of sugar from existing Rs. 7.57 to Rs. 50 per quintal and on State Specially Subsidized Scheme items from 3 percent to 4 percent of the sale rate.
The Cabinet decided to upgrade Community Health Centre Hatwar in Ghumarwin tehsil of Bilaspur district to 10 bedded health institution.
It also decided to upgrade Primary Health Centre Malokhar to Community Health Centre alongwith creation and filling up of three posts of different categories to man this health institution.
The Cabinet gave its nod to open Primary Health Centre at Pangi in Kalpa tehsil of Kinnaur district alongwith creation and filling up of three posts.
It gave its approval to open Primary Health Centre at Shikawari in Thunag tehsil of Mandi district alongwith creation and filling up of three posts.
It also approved upgradation of Primary Health Centre Bhakra in Bilaspur district to Community Health Centre alongwith creation and filling up of four posts.
The Cabinet decided to upgrade Primary Health Centres at Geharwin and Kalol in Bilaspur district to Community Health Centres alongwith creation and filling up of six posts of manage these health institutions.
It gave nod to upgrade Primary Health Centre Spilow in Kinnaur district to Community Health Centre alongwith Creation and filling up of requisite posts.
It also gave approval to open new Ayurvedic Health Centre at Thahravi in Anni tehsil of Kullu district.
It approved opening of new Ayurvedic Health Centres at Theru in GP Aambal Theru and one in village Bhali in GP Bhali of Jwali Vidhan Sabha area in Kangra district alongwith creation and filling up of six posts.
The Cabinet decided to open new Ayurvedic Health Centre at Parwanoo in Kasauli Vidhan Sabha area in Solan district alongwith creation and filling up three posts of different categories.
It approved opening of new ayurvedic health centre at Jamli in Shri Naina Devi Ji Vidhan Sabha area of Bilaspur district alongwith creation and filling up of three posts.
The Cabinet also decided to upgrade Ayurvedic Health Centre Gadkhal in Solan district to 20 bedded Ayurvedic Hospital alongwith creation and filling up of 11 posts of different categories to man this newly upgraded hospital.
It also gave consent to open new ayurvedic health Centre at Jadla in Solan district alongwith creation and filling up of three posts of different categories.
It also gave approval to open new ayurvedic health centre at village Matehar in Palampur Vidhan Sabha area of Kangra district alongwith creation and filling up of three posts of different categories.
The Cabinet decided to open ayurvedic health centre at Dhulet in Shri Naina Devi Ji Vidhan sabha area alongwith creation and filling up of three posts of different categories.
It gave its approval to provide government land measuring one bigha situated in village Kothon in tehsil and district Solan in favour of Mandyal Sabha Solan for construction of community hall at an annual lease amount of Rs. 2,35,281 with a five percent increase in every five year for a period of 30 years.
The Cabinet also gave approval to allocate additional land in favour of Vivekanand Centre Nabha Estate Shimla for construction of herbal garden and meditation hall on an annual lease amount of Rs. 1,54,647 with an enhancement of five percent after every five years for a period of 30 years.
The Cabinet gave its nod to open new Primary School at village Kiyani under Education Block Kullu-1 in Kullu Vidhan Sabha area.
The Cabinet approved to open new Degree Colleges at Ridkmar in Shahpur Vidhan Sabha area of Kangra district, Baruna in Nalagarh Vidhan Sabha area of Solan district and at Galor in Nadaun Vidhan Sabha area of Hamirpur district alongwith with creation and filling up of 16 posts of different categories for each Government Degree College.
It approved opening of new Government Primary Schools at village Kuthera Bela, and Village Kaint in Chintpurni Vidhan Sabha area of Una district.
The Cabinet gave its approval to fill up 12 posts of different categories for newly approved Government Degree College Banikhet in Chamba district.
It gave its consent for regularization of construction carried out in the complex of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Medical College and Hospital at Ner Chowk in Mandi district.
The Cabinet decided to open new Sub Division of Jal Shakti Vibhag at Talai under Jal Shakti Division Jhanduta in Jhanduta Vidhan Sabha area of Bilaspur district alongwith creation and filling up of four posts of different categories.
It approved opening of Junior Engineer Section at Bhahed under Jal Shakti Division Ghumarwin and one Section at Kapahara under Jal Shakti Division Ghumarwin alongwith creation and filling up of eight posts of different categories.
It also gave nod to open new Jal Shakti Section at Kandi under Jal Shakti Division Nagrota Bagwan in Kangra district alongwith creation and filling up of four posts.
The Cabinet gave its consent to open new Jal Shakti Vibhag Division at Dharampur in Kasauli Vidhan Sabha area of Solan district alongwith creation and filling up of 13 posts of different categories to manage this Division.
It decided to start new trades of Fitter, Technical Mechatronics, Mechanic Electric Vehicle and Computer Operator and Programming Assistant in Government Industrial Training Institute at Kanolla Uperala in Solan district alongwith creation and filling up of 14 posts of different categories.
The Cabinet decided to start diploma courses in Electrical Engineering in Government Polytechnic (Women) at Kandaghat in Solan district and Diploma in Pharmacy in Government Polytechnic Talwar in Kangra district alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts of different categories.
The Cabinet gave its approval to open new Sub Fire Station at Shahpur in Kangra district alongwith creation and filling up of 23 posts of different categories besides according approval for purchase of 3 fire fighting vehicles for this Station.
It decided to rename Government High School Kotri Beas in Sirmaur district as Shaheed Kamal Kant Memorial Government High School Kotri Beas, Government High School Sunog as Shaheed Ravinder Singh Chauhan Government High School Sunog, Government Senior Secondary School Manpur Devra as Shaheed Sohan Singh Memorial Government Senior Secondary School Manpur Devra and Government Senior Secondary School Banaur as Shaheed Rajender Singh Memorial Government Senior Secondary School Banaur in Sirmaur district as a mark of respect to the martyrs.
The Cabinet gave approval to start commerce classes in Government Senior Secondary School, Gharoh and Science (non medical) classes in Government Senior Secondary Schools, Boh and Rajol in Shahpur Vidhan Sabha area of Kangra district alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.
It decided to upgrade Government High Schools Sarar, Pukhri, Kaded, Raan, Bharara and Kandla in Chamba district, Government High School, Manj-Khetar in Mandi district, Government High School Gagwal in Kangra district and Government High School Pansai in Hamirpur district to Government Senior Secondary Schools and upgrade Government Middle Schools Jhoura, Priyungal, Krori, Mangli, Aniyunda, Saranger, Aulla and Bihali in Chamba district and Government Middle School, Raja Khas in Kangra district, Government Middle School Panjolth in Mandi district to Government High Schools alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.
The Cabinet gave its nod to start commerce classes in Government Senior Secondary Schools, Chewa, Kanda, Gaighat and Kakkarhatti and science classes in Government Senior Secondary Schools, Pratha, Bhojnagar and Kotbeja in Kasauli Vidhan Sabha area of Solan district alongwith creation and filling up of 16 posts of different categories to man these educational institutions.
It approved filling up of four posts of Junior Office Assistant (IT) in Horticulture Department.
