The Himachal Pradesh Forest Non-Gazetted Employees Federation has welcomed the decision of the Himachal Pradesh High Court in favor of promotion on the basis of seniority list of forest guards on the basis of length of service. He told that in the hearing of the appeal filed in the Himachal Pradesh High Court regarding the seniority of forest guards, a joint bench of Chief Justice Shabina and Justice Satyen Baidya has given a decision in favor of forest guards for promotion to the post of Deputy Forest Officer.
Yogesh Kumar said that canceling the decision of Single Judge Vivek Thakur and the orders of the DPC of the Principal Chief Conservator Forest Department, the seniority list of directly recruited forest guards for promotion to the post of Deputy Forest Officer should be strictly followed on the basis of service period. Has given an important decision.
