Shimla, April 9:
The Himachal Pradesh government on Wednesday ordered the transfer and posting of HPS officer Sunil Kumar (2019 batch), appointing him as Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Palampur in Kangra district with immediate effect.
According to a notification issued by the Department of Home (Section-D), Sunil Kumar has been shifted from his earlier posting as SDPO Sangrah in Sirmaur district.
The order, issued in the public interest, was approved by the Governor of Himachal Pradesh and signed by Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta, IAS.
An endorsement accompanying the notification stated that copies have been forwarded to senior officials, including the Director General of Police, State Election Commission, and other concerned authorities for necessary action and compliance.
The reshuffle is part of the state government’s routine administrative exercise aimed at strengthening policing and administrative efficiency across districts.
Further postings and transfers are expected in the coming days.
