A practice camp is being organized by Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association for the players of Shimla District Cricket Association. Under-16 cricket camp will be held in Gumma, Shimla. For this, 26 players have been selected, whose practice session will start from today. Only those players who have Himachali bonafide certificate will be able to participate in this session.
Naitik Manta, Kartik Chauhan, Ojas Bhardwaj, Dharye, Trishank Rajput, Perth Sood, Aditya Saxena, Arnav Negi, Sahil Chauhan, Saksham Dutt, Mridul Thakur, Sujal Verma, Harshil Thakur, Udit, Anshuman Vyas, Saksham, Yatharth Lukta , Tanmay Chauhan, Raghav, Aryan Kirta, Kanvyash Sharma, Hitesh, Kanishk, Sahil, Armaan Mehta and Kshitij Thakur were selected.
Under-16 cricket camp coach Laxmikant Sharma says that the coaching process is being started from today. Coaching will be given to the players at Gumma Stadium, Kotkhai, Shimla, HPCA. After this the players can also be selected for the cricket competitions to be held at the district level. This type of coaching is given every year by HPCA.
Himachal’s players are earning a lot of name in the cricket field. Shimla’s women cricket players Renuka Thakur and Sushma Verma are playing from Team India. Similarly, in this IPL also many players from Himachal will be seen playing.
