Technical University had set up 16 centers for the examination
10517 candidates had applied for the Common Entrance Test
Hamirpur. Himachal Pradesh Technical University Hamirpur’s Common Entrance Test (HPCET-2025) was held on Saturday. The entrance examination of the technical university was held at 16 centers in ten districts of the state. A total of 10517 candidates had applied for the entrance examination, out of which 9302 candidates appeared for the entrance examination. 1215 candidates were absent from the examination. Controller of Examinations of Technical University Kamal Dev Singh Kanwar said that the entrance examination was conducted peacefully at all the examination centers. This year 10517 candidates have applied, out of which 9782 are in undergraduate subjects and 735 in postgraduate subjects. 8583 in BTech and Pharmacy, 307 in MCA, 329 in MBA and MBA Tourism, 52 in BHMCT and BSc HMCT, 19 in MSc Physics, 12 in MSc Environmental Science candidates came to take the examination. The Controller of Examinations said that the answer key of the entrance examination will be released soon.
