The Legal Aid Clinic of the Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla adopted on 13-9-2022 four Village Panchayats for providing free legal aid services. In this regard, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with these four villages Pradhan were executed in formal function organized by the University.
Speaking on this occasion, the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Dr. Nishtha Jaswal said that this MoU will serve as reminder for our duties towards empowering the masses. Vikash Gupta ACJM and Secretary DLSA Shimla was special guest on this occasion. Gupta assured the HPNLU-Legal Aid Clinic for all possible support from the DLSA. Ghanahatti, Inder Singh, Pradhan Village Panchayat Sakarah along with their ward members were present. Ward representative from Village Panchayat Chahlog was also present.
The programme was coordinated by Dr Girjesh Shukla, Chairperson, HPNLU Legal Aid Clinic. Prof. Dr. S.S. Jaswal, Registrar HPNLU gave the vote of thanks. The prograame was witnessed by all other members of HPNLU Family.
