Shimla: The Forum of Hydro Power Producers in Satluj, Beas, Ravi Chenab and Yamuna Basins (HPPF) has come forward with unwavering solidarity and support for the people of Himachal Pradesh during these challenging times. In response to the recent natural disaster and flood crisis situation in Himachal Pradesh, the HPPF has contributed Rs. Five Lac to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to aid in the state’s rehabilitation and relief efforts.
The cheque on behalf of Forum was handed over today to Sh. Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Chief Minister Himachal Pradesh by Sh. Harikesh Meena, chairperson HPPF and Sh. C.M. Walia, Secretary General of the Forum.
Himachal Pradesh has been facing an unprecedented crisis, and as responsible members of the community, HPPF acknowledges the importance of coming together and assisting those affected. The recent crisis situation has left a profound impact on numerous lives, causing immense hardship and loss. In such testing times, the spirit of unity and compassion becomes crucial to help the affected communities rebuild and restore their lives.
HPPF expressed his heartfelt sympathy to all those affected and stated, “We stand in solidarity with the people of Himachal Pradesh during this challenging time. Our thoughts and prayers are with the affected communities. Through our donation to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, we hope to contribute to the state’s efforts in providing relief, support, and rebuilding the lives of those impacted. The contribution is a testament to HPPF’s commitment to the welfare of the people of Himachal Pradesh and it is hoped that this gesture will help alleviate the suffering of those impacted by the disaster.”
