ICFRE-Himalayan Forest Research Institute, Shimla organized MoEF &CC, GOI sponsored three days (February 22-24, 2023 training programme on ‘Cultivation of Important Medicinal Plants: An Option to Increase Income of Local Communities’ for other stakeholders at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Manali, District Kullu.
About 30 participants including panchayat representatives, Mahila Mandal, Yuva Mandal members, NGOs, etc. from Lahaul-Spiti, Kullu, Koti and Pujarli-Shimla regions participated in this training programme.
The inaugural session of the training program was presided over by Sh. Sundar Thakur, Hon’ble Parliamentary Secretary, Government of HP as the Chief Guest.
