Baddi: IEC University successfully concluded ‘AVSAR 4.0’, a month-long skill enhancement and career development programme aimed at helping Class XII students make informed decisions about their higher education and future careers.
The concluding ceremony was held at the university campus, marking the culmination of a programme that witnessed participation from students from Nalagarh, Baddi, Pinjore, Kalka and surrounding areas, including students from Atomic Energy-related institutions.
IEC University made free transportation arrangements for participating students, enabling them to attend the programme and gain exposure to the university environment.
The primary objective of AVSAR 4.0 was to provide Class XII students with a practical understanding of higher education opportunities in disciplines such as engineering, pharmacy, law and management. The programme was designed to help students identify suitable career paths and prepare for the changing demands of the professional world.
As part of the programme, students received hands-on training in AI tools, coding and advanced computer skills. Special sessions on public speaking, reporting and interview skills were also conducted to support their overall personality and communication development.
The programme also included industry exposure, giving students an opportunity to gain first-hand insights into industrial environments and understand how organisations function in the corporate world.
University officials said AVSAR 4.0 provided students with an opportunity to move beyond classroom-based learning and gain exposure to modern career options, emerging technologies and higher education opportunities.
The university described the initiative as a platform to help students transition confidently from school education to higher education and the professional world.
