The IEC School of Pharmacy organized a program to mark World Pharmacist Day, highlighting the important role and contributions of pharmacists to society. On this occasion, students from the department presented several performances based on this year’s World Pharmacist Day theme, “Think Health, Think Pharmacist.”
The cultural component of the program included performances of Naati, Bhangra, Gidda, as well as Garhwali, Rajasthani, and Haryanvi dances. During the program, students participated in various competitions, including a pharma quiz, essay writing, speeches, and singing, showcasing their talent and knowledge. The role and contributions of pharmacists were also highlighted through skits and plays.
On this occasion, the senior management of IEC University stated that the objective of the program was to highlight the contributions of pharmacists to society and promote excellence in the field of pharmacy. He commended the event organized by the IEC School of Pharmacy and described pharmacists as not only dispensers of medicines but also health advisors and educators.
The event not only highlighted the important role of pharmacists but also discussed in detail the latest developments and challenges in the field of pharmacy.
