Shoolini University has taken a significant step towards fostering innovation and academic excellence with the launch of its pioneering Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) Student Branch. The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of industry experts, professors, and enthusiastic students who came together to celebrate this momentous occasion.
Led by Mr. Anitya Kumar Gupta, Assistant Professor at Shoolini University, the IEEE Student Branch aims to create a vibrant community that nurtures young talents and enables them to explore their potential across various domains.
The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Daman Dev Sood, from IEEE Delhi Section, who highlighted the invaluable role played by the global community in driving growth and unlocking limitless possibilities. His inspiring words resonated with the audience, emphasizing the transformative impact of IEEE in fostering talent development and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Prof. PK Khosla, Chancellor of Shoolini University, emphasised the significance of research and commended the university’s excellence in this field. He highlighted the university’s commitment to pushing boundaries and nurturing a research-driven environment.
Prof. Ashish Khosla, Director of Innovation and Learning at Shoolini University and a former student member of IEEE, highlighted the abundant prospects that arise from participating in the IEEE community. He specifically emphasised the transformative potential of generative AI, extended reality, and quantum computing, which are at the forefront of technological advancements.
Mrs. Avnee Khosla, Trustee and Director Admissions and Placements at Shoolini University, acknowledged the importance of teamwork in executing a flawless event. She encouraged students to actively engage in IEEE activities and emphasized the abundant opportunities they offer for personal and professional growth.
Mrs. Poonam Nanda, Dean of Students Welfare, stressed the importance of sustaining enthusiasm throughout long-term endeavors. She urged IEEE members not to lose their passion and commitment on their journey towards excellence.
The success of the IEEE Student Branch can be attributed to the dedication and leadership of Mr. Anitya Kumar Gupta, who spearheaded its establishment.
