Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) and Hospital will remain open on 11 October as well. Friday, 11 October is a local holiday for Navami or Dussehra festival, but to avoid any kind of problem to the patients, OPD facility will be provided in IGMC Hospital on 11 October. The hospital administration has decided to provide medical services during three consecutive holidays from 11 October to 13 October. 12 October is a general holiday and 13 October is Sunday, however, regular work and OPD facility will continue in the hospital on 11 October.
The hospital administration has informed all the departments to make necessary arrangements so that it can be ensured that the necessary staff and services are available to deal with emergencies and regular matters. Please note that according to the order, the Deputy Medical Superintendent, Nursing Staff and Clinical Department will be on duty.
