A grand inauguration ceremony was held at 13 Battalion CRPF, where Sh. Dinesh Uniyal, Inspector General of Police, NWS, inaugurated key infrastructures including the Recreation Room, modern ORs’ Barracks, Stores, and GOs’ Annexe in the presence of Shri Harjinder Singh, DIGP, Range Chandigarh and Smt Kamal Sisodiya, Commandant 13 Battalion. These newly created facilities are aimed at significantly improving the living conditions and morale of the Jawans engaged in sensitive VVIP/VIP security duties.
During his address, Sh. Dinesh Uniyal, IGP, praised the continuous efforts and professional excellence of team 13 Battalion under the enthusiastic, energetic and able leadership of Unit Commandant Smt. Kamal Sisodiya. He stated that strong infrastructure, combined with welfare initiatives, directly contributes to operational effectiveness and enhances the motivation of the force. Drawing inspiration from the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, he spoke about the values of selfless service, honesty, and community welfare, and urged all personnel to imbibe these principles in their professional and personal lives.
He also appreciated the dedication of the unit in maintaining high standards of discipline and performance. The colourful and vibrant cultural programme added the much needed flavor. The event concluded on a high note with enthusiastic participation from all ranks.
