Sirmaur/Nahan: Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur, who reached Nahan to attend the felicitation program of Bharatiya Janata Party National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, while talking to media representatives, launched the fourth attack on the Sukhu government. He said that as soon as he came to power, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu started an endless series of imposing taxes on Himachal. Which is not stopping. In just 20 months of tenure, when the government had nothing else left to impose taxes, it imposed tax on toilets. Himachal is the only state in the country to impose tax on toilets and Sukhu ji is the only Chief Minister. In 2 years, the government has pushed the state back 10 years. As soon as the Chief Minister took power, he has only done the work of increasing taxes. On one hand, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is going on in India and the central government is spending huge amount for cleanliness and open defecation free, on the other hand, the Congress government and its Chief Minister want to collect ₹25 every month from every toilet seat. After facing ridicule all over the world, the government withdrew this decision but due to this decision the mentality of the government was exposed to the entire country.
Jairam Thakur said that Rohit Thakur has visited Uttar Pradesh on an official tour. If he finds the education policy and system of UP working well, then what is the problem in implementing it in Himachal. Good things should be implemented in the state wherever they are in the country. But Congress has a problem with the name of Uttar Pradesh’s popular Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi, so the Congress command leaders have a problem when any work done by him is implemented in Himachal. The leadership of Himachal should implement schemes according to the interests of Himachal even if it was implemented by Adityanath Yogi’s government in the past. The Congress has put a ban on the names of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi from the top, that their names should not be taken anywhere.
The Leader of Opposition said that most of the industries of the state have left the state due to the policies of the Sukhu government. Fed up with the government-protected anarchy, the industry of the state has said goodbye to Himachal like Rahul Gandhi. The government is harassing the industries. The government has left no stone unturned in threatening the industries and harassing them with government policies. Due to which the industry in the state was left with no option other than migration.
He said that Congress came to power on the basis of false guarantees. The day is not far when it will become difficult for Congress leaders, ministers and Chief Minister to move around in the state. Every person of the state will stop them at the crossroads and ask them about their guarantees and will take them to task. This government has no concern for the people of the state. The entire government is neck deep in corruption. In the coming days, all the corruption of the government will be exposed.
