Hamirpur 07 August. To ensure financial inclusion of common people by benefiting them from the loan schemes of banks and other social security schemes and to make them aware of digital banking, awareness and financial literacy programs were organized in Gram Panchayat Nara and Gram Panchayat Changar on Thursday under the nationwide campaign being run from July 1 to September 30, in which a large number of local people participated.
While presiding over these programs, Circle Office Head of Punjab National Bank Neeraj Kumar Anand said that some necessary precautions should be taken while using digital banking. We should not share our password or other important confidential information with anyone and should not give information related to our bank account on any unknown and suspicious phone call or message. He also made people aware about PM Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Suraksha Bima Yojana, PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana and other schemes and appealed to take advantage of them.
Ajay Katana, Director of Punjab National Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) also gave many important information to the people. During the program, forms of various social security schemes were filled on the spot and these were sent to the concerned bank branch. On this occasion, District Lead Manager Office Officer Anil Kumar, RSETI Faculty Member Sanjay Harnot, other officers, local Panchayat public representatives and others were also present.
