The installation of a vehicle location tracking device (VLTD) in school buses has been made mandatory. Now school buses will not pass without VLTD. The Transport Department has issued instructions to all regional transport officers and motor vehicle inspectors in this regard.
After the installation of VLTD, parents will also be able to see the location of school buses. The orders have also been issued by the Transport Ministry in this regard. To ensure the safety of students traveling in school buses, the installation of VLTD has been made mandatory.
After the installation of VLTD in school buses, the transport department will have complete information about when and where the bus went. Through this, immediate help can be provided to children in an emergency.
