International Film Festival of Shimla’s Award winning ceremony was innagurated by the Honorable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Jai Ram Thakur. The winning film directors were presented with the awards by the Chief Minister.
Sh. Suresh Bhardwaj, the state’s Urban development & town and country planning minister was also present in the award ceremony.
On the third and the commencing day of International Film festival of Shimla Mr. “Vijay” the Director of the famous Bollywood Movie “Thalivi” came in as the Celebrity Guest. The Film was based upon Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister “Jaylalita” where her struggle from an Actor to the Famous Politican she became was shown beautifully.
After the Screening of his film, Mr. Vijay Interacted with audience in the open forum and talked about the commercial and Tamil Cinema.
On the last day of the IFFS, “Amgahar” which was directed by an Iranian Film maker and “Nazi” which was directed by a Moroccon film maker was also showcased.
A film “Shoot the Leopard” which was based upon the terror of leopards in Himachal Pradesh and Uttrakhand was highly applauded.
Alongside, “Tea shop at Narkanda” which was based on Sh. Sumit Vashisht’s Novel was also Praised by the audience.
Sh. Jai Ram Thakur who was present in the ceremony as IFFS Chief guest presented the Festivals Best film under the categories of International, National and State.
