The Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly held a meeting regarding the organization of the International Shri Renukaji Fair
Nahan, August 13. Deputy Speaker of Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly and Chairman Shri Renukaji Vikas Board Vinay Kumar today chaired the meeting organized by Shri Renukaji Vikas Board for the successful organization of the International Shri Renukaji Fair at Kubja Pavilion Renuka.
Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly and Chairman Shri Renukaji Development Board Vinay Kumar said that this year the International Shri Renukaji Fair will be organized from 31 October to 05 November, 2025. He informed that on the occasion of the inauguration of this fair, the Chief Minister of the state Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu ji will be invited and on the closing occasion, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh Shiv Pratap Shukla will be invited as the chief guest.
Vinay Kumar said that this fair will be celebrated with the same enthusiasm and gaiety this year as well. Efforts will be made to make Shri Renukaji International Fair even better as time goes by. Shri Renukaji Vikas Board will make efforts to make this fair even more grand this year so that this fair can get recognition at the global level as well.
He asked all the concerned officials to strictly follow the instructions given to make the fair a success.
In the meeting, a proposal was also made to invite deities from other places of the region in the International Renukaji Fair to be held this year so that the fair can be made more grand.
In the meeting, arrangements for electricity, water supply, fire fighting, transport, traffic, parking, health, cleanliness, security and law and order etc. were discussed.
He informed that the Shobha Yatra in the fair will start from Giri river and will reach Shri Parshuram Ji Devthi via Dadahu school ground, bus stand, Giripul and fair ground. The Yatra will start at exactly 2:00 pm and will reach near Shri Parshuram Ji pond at 4:30 pm.
It was informed in the meeting that during the fair, use of meat, fish, liquor and coconut will be prohibited in the fair premises.
He said that this fair will be organised as a plastic-free green fair for which the cooperation of non-governmental organisations will also be taken.
Deputy Commissioner Sirmaur Priyanka Verma and government and non-government members of Renuka Development Board were also present in the meeting.
Sub-divisional Magistrate Nahan and Member Secretary of Shri Renukaji Vikas Board Rajiv Sankhyan conducted the meeting.
After this, the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly also heard the problems of the area residents and asked the departmental officers present to resolve the problems.
