The state government relieved SSP Kangra Shalini Agnihotri on Thursday. Shalini Agnihotri is a 2012 batch Himachal Pradesh cadre IPS officer. IPS officer Shalini Agnihotri is now going to Delhi on central deputation. On May 28, the Central Personnel Department appointed Shalini Agnihotri as Deputy Secretary in the Department of School Education and Literacy.
IPS officer Shalini Agnihotri will serve on central deputation for four years. Shalini Agnihotri has also served as SP Mandi and SP Kullu before becoming SP Kangra. Along with relieving SSP Kangra Shalini Agnihotri on Thursday, the state government has handed over the additional charge of SP Kangra to SP Nurpur Ashok Rana.
