Congress ideology has laid the foundation of developed Indian thought: Sukhvinder Sukhu
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said in Mumbai today that the Congress ideology has laid the foundation of developed India thinking. This is the thinking of former Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi, who made policies in the interest of the country, due to which today India is moving on the path of development. “When I reached the Maharashtra Congress office, Congress leader Pawan Khera offered me a samosa. Then I asked whether the politics that is happening here is on samosas or development and respect for women. Truth always triumphs over falsehood, but in the end, truth always triumphs. Like Maharashtra, ‘Operation Lotus’ was also carried out in Himachal Pradesh during the Rajya Sabha election Sukhu said ever since the BJP’s Operation Lotus failed in Himachal Pradesh, attempts were being made to defame the state. “The Congress government faced Operation Lotus like a war. The people of the state have endorsed the policies of the Congress government, and the number of Congress MLAs has again increased to forty. That is why propaganda is being spread against Himachal Pradesh, and the Prime Minister is also posting on social media. “People of Maharashtra have to decide whether democracy is being strengthened by conspiracies to topple Congress governments with money power,” he said.
The Chief Minister said that the Congress government is making efforts to make Himachal Pradesh self-reliant by 2027 and the most prosperous state in the country by 2032. For this, policy changes are being made so that the light of development reaches the last person of the society. He said that the Himachal Pradesh government has fulfilled five guarantees in less than two years. In the very first cabinet meeting, the old pension scheme was implemented, and teaching has started in English medium in government schools from the first class. A pension of Rs 1500 per month is being provided to women above 18 years of age.
He said that Himachal Pradesh is the first state in the country where the responsibility of taking care of orphaned children for 27 years is being done by the state government, for which a law has been made. The state government is also bearing the expenses of the education of children of widows and single women. Himachal Pradesh is the first state in the country to provide a minimum support price for milk. The Congress government has increased the rate of cow milk from Rs 32 to Rs 45 and that of buffalo milk from Rs 47 to Rs 55. “Congress does what it says,” he said. The Congress government in Himachal Pradesh is working beyond guarantees because it is also the responsibility of the state government to help the deprived class.
