Shimla:
The elections of the Nurses Association at Deendayal Upadhyay Hospital, Shimla, were concluded peacefully and unanimously. In the election process, Isha Thakur was unanimously elected as the President of the Association.
Other office-bearers were also selected unanimously. Himani Kabir was elected as Vice President, Sushma Sharma as General Secretary, and Kalpana as Joint Secretary. Tamanna Chauhan was appointed Press Secretary, while Sharda Jasta was named Advisor to the Association.
In addition, Neelam Gupta, Rajni, and Poonam were elected as Treasurers, and Neeraj Sharma was entrusted with an important responsibility within the organization.
Expressing gratitude to all members, the newly elected President Isha Thakur stated that she would work with full dedication towards resolving the issues of the nursing staff and safeguarding their rights. She also reaffirmed her commitment to working in a spirit of teamwork for the welfare of the hospital and patients.
